Born and raised in Calgary, Clara graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor's of Education and Bachelor's of Art in Drama. She spent the last 18 years in Hong Kong teaching preschool and kindergarten. Having worked in both local and international kindergartens, Clara has spent a great deal of time helping develop curriculum for schools.

Clara believes strongly that it takes a village to raise a child. Working together with families to give children early education not only in academics but in practical life skills as well.

In her spare time, when Clara isn't spending time with her two daughters and husband, she loves doing muay thai and traveling.
