Hello! I'm Patti Chen, and I'm thrilled to be a part of the Fit Kids community as a preschool educator. My passion lies in fostering a positive and enriching environment for young minds to grow and flourish.

With a diploma in Music and Bachelor's degree in Teaching English as a Second Language, I have been dedicated to the field of education since 1998. My professional journey includes diverse roles such as a school manager, a young children's education programmer, and a Mandarin and traditional culture teacher for K-12 students.

I prioritize safety and well-being, holding certifications such as SafeCheck Advanced Food Safety, First Aid and CPR/AED Level C, Police Check and a Level 1 childcare certificate to ensure a secure and nurturing environment for our young learners.

​

Outside of work, I wear many hats. From being a mom of three wonderful kids to indulging in my love for baking, cross country skiing, hiking, biking, kayaking and pickleball with my husband, I believe in leading a well-rounded life. My musical pursuits include playing the piano, violin and singing adding a creative touch to my life.

One of my greatest joys is cheering on my kids during their sports games and watching them succeed in many aspects of life. It's a moment of pride and excitement that reflects the same spirit I bring into the classroom.
