Full-day program for children aged one to five (pre-kindergarten).

 

At our daycare center, every child can feel good about themselves. We promote high self-esteem through exercise, inclusion, and participation.

We believe that a healthy body promotes a healthy mind. Along with physical education and nutrition, our children have opportunities to develop academically, socially, and artistically.

Schedule

​

This is an example of our daily routine. As is normal with little ones, our schedule may vary.

8:30 am - Breakfast

9:00 am - Circle time

9:30 am - Sports / fitness activity

10:30 am - Outside Play

11:30am - Lunch

12:30 pm - Tidy-up

1:00 pm  - Quiet time / cuddle-up reading/nap time

1:30 pm - Crafts / drama/baking

2:00 pm - Sports / fitness activity

3:00 pm - Snack time

3:30 pm - Writing / math

4:30 pm - Free play

5:00 pm - Circle time / reflect

We typically have a theme for each week.

Physical Activity

 

Some of our favourite sports activities include soccer, hockey, basketball, baseball, pickleball, volleyball, gymnastics - and lots of horsing around! We use a variety of spaces inside and outside to practice sports and fitness.

Nutrition

​

Families are to pack nutritious snacks and lunches for the children.

​

Curriculum

Our curriculum includes:

• Introduction to reading and writing through letters.

• Cuddle-up reading

• Multisport

• Gymnastics

• Basic mathematics

• Science (including hands-on experiments)

• Dramatic arts

• Arts and crafts

• Music and dancing (rock bands, dance parties, etc.)

• Storytelling

• Sensory activities used to explore all five senses
